The Chevron Ambassador program, mentored by Brian Redman and Mike Wilds, supports selected up and coming drivers. The Chevron Young Ambassadors are Historic FF1600 drivers James Buckton and Callum Grant plus Jessica Hawkins who has stepped up from Karts this year.

Following her successful years in Karting, where she earned a works Super 1 drive and was chosen for the MSA Academy, 18 year old Jessica Hawkins is to pursue a career in car racing. Following a test in Mk8 Motorsport’s Classic Formula Ford Elden, Jessica has also earned a run in a Renault Clio Cup car at Silverstone.

“Following my recent Historic Formula Ford test arranged by Chevron Racing, I won a test drive in a Michelin Clio Cup car”  says Jessica. “Both were fantastic fun to drive, and a great experience for me in my quest to make the transition from karts to cars. Whilst these are two completely different formulas, all track time is essential for my racing development and I can’t wait to enter my first race in whichever formula this may be. Both tests went brilliantly and I am now committed to make this career step as success as my experience in karts.”
