Chevron GR8

The Chevron GR8 is the first new GT Chevron race car since the originals created by Derek Bennett during the 60′s and 70′s.

It has all the great Chevron DNA, but with a modern interpretation and equipment to give a 21st Century race car experience.

The GR8 (GR = Gran Rapida) was designed by Paul Brown and Lester Allen (of Bentley and Aston Martin fame); is based upon the beautiful Chevron B8.

We’re delighted to have also seen the GR8 recognised by Evo Magazine as their track car of the year in 2010, beating a very competitive and distinguished field. EVO magazine summarised:

“The Chevron …….. may be the most focused, the most expensive and perhaps a touch exuberant for trackdays, but the GR8 delivers on every level, from the way it looks to the way it sounds and goes. It’s individual and manages to mix ’60s retro with the demands of today’s trackday driver. It was the most compelling contender in this year’s test from the moment it was lowered onto the Cadwell tarmac, and it’s our Track Car of the Year.”

The GR8 is available in three specifications:

GR8′s are used in British GT , Britcar and GT Cup racing to name a few. You can also enter the one make GR8 Challenge series ,browse our gallery of photos and view videos.
